A Philippine Cultural Day - A Town Feast

Promises a celebration of Philippine culture in a town feast setting as it engages the community in the design and creation of this cultural event. This will be an all-day event featuring various cultural performances, including a street parade with the well-known Ati-Atihan tribal dance. There will be a display of Filipino arts and crafts as well as stalls that will showcase popular Filipino dishes and products. This exciting treat to the community will be on Saturday, 2 May 2008 at Coachman's Park,St. Marys NSW.

I will make sure that i am not working on that day to join the PLCAA in the celebration of Philippine Cultural Day. Looking forward to "sorbetes" and sago at gulaman.

The Filipinos have a very rich culture and this is that day that we can showcase a part of our culture through songs, dances, displays and food...

Mabuhay!!!

The street parade as part of the Philippine Cultural Day won't be possible on 2 May 2009.
PLCAA won't give up in creating a fiesta atmosphere for the enjoyment of the community.
PLCAA designed another way of featuring the popular Ati-Atihan tribal dance to be performed by the Ilongo Dinagyang Connection Inc.

Can we have an idea of what the menu from the stallholders will be? I need this so I can start planning how much weight to lose before I start putting it back on at the Philippine Cultural Day!

Thank you PLCAA for organising this event, Philippine Cultural Day on 2 May. Its a good way of showcasing and sharing our rich culture and lovely cuisine to the rest of the community. I'm sure people will come, weather permitting.

Too bad there won't be a street parade, but nonetheless, Im sure it will still be a fun day for everyone.

More power to PLCAA!! Well done!!
